What file size should I select, and how do I order?

While we actually don't "sell" images per se, we do sell licenses so that you can use them for personal, or business use.

To buy a license, click on the GREEN "BUY License/Print" button above your selected image(s), and then select the license you want to purchase; Personal use, or Business/Commercial use. 

Business use, is ANY form of business or commercial use, like advertising campaigns, business or commercial website use, illustrations, editorial use etc. If you have any questions, or special needs, contact us and we'll be happy to work with you.

File sizes:

Small and Medium sized images are usually all you need for Web-use.

Small images are great for illustration purposes, or within text on a website or in an email.

Medium sized images offer better image quality and are better suited when the image is primary, or you want a large image online. Medium-sized images can also be used in printed materials as long as the picture itself does not exceed 5 inches.

Large images are most suitable for printed materials where the image itself may be enlarged up to 8 inches, as well as in some cases where very large web images requiring maximum resolution are needed.

For immediate download on this site, we offer Small, Medium and Large size images typically for web use, or small print material use up to approx 8-1/2 x 11 inches.

Need bigger files?

No problem, we can also offer ultra high-resolution files in TIFF or JPEG format at over 5000px (longest side) at 300dpi.

These files are typically used in high quality marketing materials, full-page advertisings, and other commercial uses. 

Please contact us with the Image Id Number, and file type (Jpeg or Tiff) that you need - and we'll arrange to have such images made available to you for download immediately upon payment of licensing fee.
